SOPHIE WARD

Sophie Ward is an actor and writer who has worked in television, theatre and film since her debut in Young Sherlock Holmes. Ward was honoured to receive the Inspirational Role Model of the Year at the European Diversity Awards in 2014 and DIVA Inspirational Role Model in 2018.

 

A PhD graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London, Ward’s first book, A Marriage Proposal, was published by Guardian Shorts in 2014.

 

Her novel, Love And Other Thought Experiments, was published by Corsair in 2020 and was longlisted for the Booker Prize. Her latest novel, The Schoolhouse, came out in May 2022.
